Like any document, CVs arrive on our doorstep in different forms and states. Some require merely to be checked for mistakes, freshened up, and returned error-free, while others demand root-and-branch surgery.

• First things first: a CV must not contain any mistakes or typos, of any kind! We guarantee the removal and correction of these, before focusing on more substantive aspects.

• Style isn’t everything, but it is crucial when trying to make a good first impression. We scrutinize a client’s CV in terms of content and style, offering suggestions for ways in which its aesthetics can be improved.

• The intended purpose of a CV is significant in the CV-building process. Whether the client wants a generic, multi-purpose CV, or one for a particular position or course, will be kept in mind at all times. This affects which information will be emphasized or deprioritized, the order of what should come first, and the CV’s overall direction and tone.
