As ALBA places a strong emphasis on building trust with clients, payment is made after the job is completed. At that point, clients are issued an e-invoice for secure online payment (all major credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, WeChat Pay, Alipay are accepted).

Absolutely! Aftercare is a crucial part of ALBA’s services, and our clients are always encouraged to get in touch with questions regarding their edited/proofread document.

ALBA corresponds by email. This ensures that an accurate and transparent record is kept of all interaction between ALBA and the client.

Simply put: either! The client should simply indicate their preference (American or British) before the work begins and it will be edited/proofread accordingly.

The rate is calculated per 400 words. Meanwhile, documents such as CVs and cover letters are charged at a set price.

This is decided on a case-by-case basis, and depends on various factors including the length of the
document and when work will be done (i.e. weekday/weekend; working hours/non-working hours).

In most cases, footnotes are not included in the chargeable word count accordingly unless descriptive in nature.

For myriad reasons, references are the client’s sole responsibility.

To protect client confidentiality, no public samples are available. Upon request, we are willing to edit/proofread the first 2-3 paragraphs of any given large document in advance.

Clients are advised to send their documents in Microsoft Word format.
